Stuff you could lay your hands on to pimp up your boring gnome desktop:

* the top bar is actually a simple gnome panel with some modifications done. experiment yourself. it slides away nicely with the two extreme buttons

* on the right is a set of “gdesklets”, really cool and below the weather are “side candy” gdesklets which slide out with more info as you roll your mouse over it. Sweet! (trivia: gdesklets is one of those few programs which root CANNOT run!)

*a simpson quote fetcher! another gdesklet

*bottom- world time

*the interface has a lot of window borders, themes, icons from http://art.gnome.org

*not shown – a really cool GDM theme!
