sleepless sunday…with hdk!
i hate Sundays… i know half the world loves it, but im one of the few who hate it! its a darn lazy day, inevitably the morning starts late, the breakfast is too late to be true and the lunch is one crazy meal, whatever it is, is bound to make you hit the sack again. well whatever, in the papers i read something on the lines-
“Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the grade separator at BTM Layout junction on Monday. The project executed by BDA at a cost of Rs 24 crore has three levels – flyover, underpass and grade which connects Bannerghatta Road,Dairy Circle,BTM Layout Road, and Ring Road. The project which began in February 2003 was delayed as the BDA and the contractor were at loggerheads but the matter was settled in court. The project will ease the traffic chaos on the ring road and adjacent roads……….”.
blah blah …traffic eased and pigs will fly. Which city in the world has a signal on a flyover?(see flyover, see also double road). i bet the underpass will have a line of hawkers selling fascinating products ranging from pirated DVDs to masala tomatoes.anyways i filed it in the back of my brain. the underpass was a walk away from my mansion. in case i got stuck i could walk back home.
as the sunday passed by, i found myself turning off the lights, telling my pals to quit texting, cause i wanted to sleep and forget the sunday….alas… half hour passed… toss, turn …damn it…the insomnia attack was back.it was pointless being in bed. i got out…got a drink (of water please) and revved up my AMD 64 box!… time passed… 4:30in the morning… and my adamant brain didn’t want to switch to sleep mode. at about 5, i recalled the article in the paper…the underpass… a wicked smile…well well, i could beat HDK at the inauguration!so im out, i kick my bike…he argues…he’s cold… nevertheless, man is still in control of the machines and we are off…the underpass is deserted…there are barricades at the entrance… i get off, push them at a side, yep, standing there… i ride right in!..hdk ..beat ya!

>>man is still in control of the machines
